The flow table quantity optimization method of the SDN in-band control network mainly comprises a grouping algorithm module, a label distribution module and a label forwarding module, wherein the grouping algorithm module realizes grouping of switches according to the hop number from a controller, the label distribution module distributes labels to each group according to the grouping condition, and the label forwarding module generates a flow table for label forwarding. The invention solves the problem of excessive control flow tables in a large-scale network and improves the use efficiency of switch flow table resources.
