The invention provides a two-photon fluorescent probe, which adopts aminoguanidino as a formaldehyde activity recognition group, has the characteristics of high sensitivity, good selectivity and higher response speed, and can be applied to in-vivo detection. The invention also provides a preparation method of the two-photon fluorescent probe, which comprises the steps of reacting hydroxy tetraphenylethylene with N-Boc-bromoethylamine, removing Boc, and adding S-methyl isothioaminourea hydroiodide to generate a product, namely the fluorescent probe for detecting formaldehyde.
