In one embodiment, a method comprises: identifying a real-world object in one or more first video frames of a scene; determining alternative content associated with one or more graphical attributes based on context information of the scene; generating an object model based on the real world object; associating the content with a portion of the object model to be replaced by the content, wherein the association indicates that the content will conform to a surface of the object model on which the portion to be replaced is located; generating one or more second video frames, wherein at least one surface of the real-world object is replaced in each second video frame by a rendering of an object model, the rendering of the object model including content associated with the portion of the object model and having one or more graphical attributes of the content; and displaying one or more second video frames.
