The method takes the clinical information of a patient and the pathological image characteristics of the tumor area of the patient extracted by applying an image processing technology as basic variables, further calculates the interaction among the basic variables as input data, fits a survival random forest model and accurately predicts the survival time of the patient. The results of the embodiment of the invention show that the cross-validation efficacy evaluation index C-index of the model provided by the invention is superior to the result of prediction only by using pathological image characteristics or clinical information, and the accuracy of prediction of postoperative recurrence risk of liver cancer is obviously improved; in addition, the invention also provides a classification index of postoperative recurrence risk, and the patient can be divided into two subgroups of higher recurrence risk and lower recurrence risk, so that doctors can be helped to make a targeted treatment scheme for the patient.

The invention can be used for constructing a cancer risk assessment system in genetic counseling and can also be used for screening key gene loci.
