The invention utilizes the second-order regression model to correct stable lamplight data, adds additional conditions and carries out supersaturation correction, so that the continuity of DMSP/OLS night lamplight images and the correlation between the total amount of the night lamplight and GDP are enhanced. The method has the advantages of relatively low calculation amount, full-automatic operation, high correlation, strong continuity and the like, and is beneficial to research by utilizing DMSP/OLS images.
