The method takes the waste alkaline zinc-manganese dioxide battery as a raw material, does not need to supplement exogenous metal elements, and has the advantages of good crystallinity of the prepared zinc ferrite, stable structure, high catalytic activity, low metal ion dissolution, recyclability and reutilization, simple process, easily obtained raw materials, convenient operation and low cost.
